Welcome to Double Vision!
The term costume!fic was coined to describe Dom/Billy RPS in which they not only wear their costumes, but also in which the lines between them and Merry and Pippin blur. I find that creates a very interesting dynamic.
There is something very appealing about the idea of Dom and Billy in their hobbit costumes. Their movie characters are so different, sometimes even the contrary, from their real life personalities, and I really enjoy the idea that sometimes character and actor get mixed up just a little... Plus, there's the hotness factor of combining my two OTPs Dom/Billy and Merry/Pippin. It's OTP²! :)
